Jackson is the founder of The Walk-On Mentality, LLC — a performance coaching business built for high-level professionals who refuse to settle for average.
As a former Division I walk-on football player, Jackson didn’t walk onto the field with a scholarship or safety net. He earned everything through grit, obsession, and relentless discipline — the same mindset that has carried him through his career in the cutthroat world of orthopedic medical device sales. While grinding through 4:00 a.m. wakeups and 12-hour OR days, he still finds time to train like a savage — running marathons, competing in triathlons, and qualifying for the HYROX World Championship.
He knows firsthand what most professionals ignore: success without health is a slow death. And the reality is — most sales reps, surgeons, and high performers are burning themselves into the ground while pretending they're fine.

“The Walk-On Mentality” was born from Jackson’s own journey — turning down smaller football offers to pursue his dream of playing big-time Division I football. He walked on at SMU, earned a scholarship, became a 4-year letterman, 2-year starter, team captain, and was nominated for the Burlsworth Trophy — awarded to the nation’s top player who began as a walk-on. No handouts. Just grit, belief, and relentless work. After retiring from football Jackson has continued to explore his limits competing in multiple marathons, triathlons, and HYROX competitions including The 2025 World Championship.
